Our Environmental Impact

We are constantly looking at changes to our operations to make us more environmentally friendly. To this date we have included:
- full recycling of food and beverage containers (composting is limited due to bears).
- our linens are washed for clients when requested and not daily, during their stay, to reduce water usage.
- trees and bushes have been transplanted for the new driveway development.
- reclaimed road surfacing materials were used for the new driveway.
- wood from the old shed that collapsed from snow load, has been recycled into flower planters, furniture and a new wood / tool shed.
- picture frames in the lodge are made from the cedar cutoffs from the hot tub room renovation.
- lighting is being changed to more energy efficient bulbs.
- cleaning supplies are also being changed to biodegradable to reduce our impact.

In the future we are looking into new natural energy systems for heating and electrical.
- the new garage development is using a new heat sink, solar infloor heating system.
